The 40G optical module can support hot plug with a maximum speed of 41.2Gb/s and a power consumption of less than 3.5W. It can support DDM digital diagnosis and monitoring function. It is used with Huawei S6720S-26Q-LI-24S-A switch 2 × 40GE QSFP+ port. In the figure below, QSFP-40G-LR4 optical module is used, and the transmission distance with LC optical fiber jumper can reach 10KM.
