①X2 optical module
②X2 to SFP+ converter

Solution 1
One end uses an X2 optical module, and the other end uses an X2 to SFP+ converter and the 10G SFP+ optical module combination, and SC-LC patch cord are used connecting between the two ends.
Solution 2
Both of the end uses X2 to SFP+ converter and 10G SFP+ optical module, and LC-LC patch cord are used connecting between the two ends.
According to the market feedback, the solution 2 will be more extensive, the main reason is that the cost of solution 1 is much higher than solution 2 in long-distance transmission projects.
The X2 module and SFP+ module direct connection solution
If X2 and SFP+ modules are single-mode, single-mode patch cord is required.
