Working principle: When transmitting a signal at the transmitting end, the electrical signal is first converted into an optical signal through a laser array. When transmitting the signal at the transmitting end and receiving the signal at the receiving end, the photodetector array converts the parallel optical signal into a parallel electrical signal.
The 40G QSFP+ ER4 optical module converts four input channels of 10G data into four CWDM optical signal channels, each with a rate of up to 11.2Gbps, and multiplexes them into a single channel for 40G optical transmission.
