Application of 10G SFP+ DWDM Wavelength Division Optical Module in Long-distance Backbone Network
DWDM is a dense wavelength division technology. This technology multiplexes the tight spectral spacing of a single optical fiber carrier in a designated optical fiber in order to utilize the achievable transmission performance. This technical solution is used to increase the bandwidth of the existing laser technology on the optical fiber backbone network. 1、10G DWDM SFP+ C17-C61 40km(ESDxxX-3LCD40)
It adopts hot-swappable SFP+ package, dual-fiber LC interface, optional fixed wavelength C-band C17-C61 (interval 50/100GHz), equipped with EML laser and PIN photodetector, and the working temperature range is commercial grade (0℃- 70℃) and industrial grade (-40℃-85℃) are optional. It complies with SFP28 MSA and 10G Ethernet standards, with a maximum rate of 11.3Gbps, and can transmit up to 40 kilometers through single-mode optical fiber OS2.
2、10G DWDM SFP+ C18-C61 80km(ESDxxX-3LED80)
It adopts hot-swappable SFP+ package, dual-fiber LC interface, optional fixed wavelength C-band C17-C61 (interval 50/100GHz), equipped with EML laser and PIN photodetector. It conforms to SFP28 MSA and 10G Ethernet standards. The maximum speed is up to 11.3Gbps, and the maximum transmission distance is 80 kilometers through single-mode optical fiber OS2.
The DWDM system can make full use of the huge bandwidth resources of the optical fiber, so that the capacity of an optical fiber can be expanded several times or even dozens of times. In the long-distance network, the wavelength can be gradually increased according to the actual business volume to realize the expansion, which is very flexible.
In the network expansion and development, there is no need to renovate the optical cable, and only need to replace the optical transmitter and optical receiver to achieve the goal. It is an ideal means of expansion and a convenient means of introducing broadband services. Moreover, by adding an additional wavelength, any new service or new capacity can be introduced. In addition, the DWDM system can be compatible with the future all-optical network. In the future, a transparent and highly survivable all-optical network may be realized on the basis of the DWDM system that has been built.
