25G Tunable DWDM Optical Module, an Effective Solution for 5G Ethernet and 5G Pre-transmission Services

With the rapid development of information technology and the increasing demand for data transmission, optical communication technology plays a crucial role in modern networks.DWDM technology dramatically increases the capacity of data transmission by using multiple optical signals of different wavelengths on a single optical fiber at the same time. Tunable modules enable flexible and efficient wavelength management by switching between multiple wavelengths. 25G Tunable DWDM tunable modules combine these two technologies to provide higher data rates and greater adaptability.

ETU-LINK 25G Tunable DWDM 15km Optical Module adopts advanced 25G Tunable Optical Chip, and combines the internal separation scheme of self-made Tunable TOSA and self-made APD/PIN chip scheme, which ensures the module to achieve 25G 15km stable transmission on single-mode fiber. In addition, the module supports 96-channel transmission and can complete automatic wavelength adjustment in a short time, which greatly improves the efficiency of network operation and maintenance.


Product Features:


High-speed transmission: The module supports 25.78Gbps high-speed data transmission, covering a single-mode fiber distance of 15KM, and the range of transmit optical power is between 0~5dBm, which ensures good transmit eye diagram performance.

Flexible wavelength management: 96-channel adjustable, in the case of changes in optical power and eye diagram, the wavelength adjustment is automatically completed within 3-5 seconds to ensure the correct wavelength and simplify network operation and maintenance.

Low power consumption design: power consumption is less than 2W in commercial mode and less than 2.5W in industrial mode, in line with energy-saving standards.

Environmental adaptability: Commercial temperature range from 0℃ to 70℃, industrial temperature range from -40℃ to 85℃, meeting diversified environmental requirements.


Standard compatibility: Following SFF-8431 and SFF-8690 standards, the product is verified on the well-known brand equipment before production to ensure compatibility with existing equipment, widely used in 25G Ethernet, CPRI Option10, data centers and other scenarios.


As a typical networking method to save fiber resources, ETU-LINK 25G Tunable DWDM modules greatly simplify network construction and operation and maintenance. Due to the large number of wavelengths in DWDM solutions, to ensure the safety and reliability of network lines, operators need to prepare a large number of different types of optical modules for spare parts, which leads to a significant increase in operating costs.Tunable technology standardizes optical modules by enabling lasers to adapt to different DWDM wavelengths. This not only significantly reduces the variety and number of spare parts, but also simplifies the connection process to the combiner and splitter, eliminating the complexity of matching and identifying the wavelengths of optical modules one by one. In addition, it is easy to install and supports plug-and-play, which further enhances the ease of operation.
